This course is designed to teach you how to cut wood and trim trees safely.

You will learn how to operate and maintain chainsaws and pole saws safely, including handling and correct use of personal protective equipment, as well as basic equipment maintenance.

The course runs from 8.30am to 3pm each day.

This course is suitable for anyone who would like to improve their wood cutting skills or for the novice who wishes to learn to use them competently.

  • Long sleeve shirts
  • Long pants
  • Safety boots

Gloves and glasses are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Additional PPE will be supplied.
