Muresk is a working agricultural and livestock farm as well as a training, conference and function facility. We host groups small and large from eight to 150 people including industry, business, government and community events with accommodation, meals and all the latest technology — right here in the beautiful surrounds of the Avon Valley.

As a working farm on 898 hectares in the beautiful Avon Valley in WA's Wheatbelt region, Muresk offers a unique learning environment where students get hands on experience through training that's focused on industry-ready practical skills and knowledge.
In 2023, the WA State Government announced the opening of the $10.3 million expansion at Muresk Institute. This includes new workshops, classrooms, information technology laboratories and student facilities designed to make sure students are learning in a state-of-the-art environment. Alongside the expansion, the State Government delivered two combine harvester simulators and a range of other agricultural machinery options, offering a realistic farm experience in a training environment.
These improvements to our facilities were designed following extensive industry consultation to ensure students will be job ready once their training is complete. These state-of-the-art facilities, along with our modern machinery and technology and equipment, provide students with a world class learning environment.
This expansion includes the new Agricultural Machinery Training Centre (AMTC) which became the centrepiece of our campus.
A new $800,000 industry-standard shearing shed was also completed at Muresk, providing students with high quality training in wool handling and shearing.
